A Fresh Coat of Pink!

Breast Cancer Awareness month kicked off last week. A local family took it upon themselves to show their support in a huge way. In West Seneca, a family decided they would go pink for October, literally. They decided that before they resided their house, they would paint it totally pink.   This gesture of support has been in the works for the past year.

Pain, Pain, Go Away!

September is pain awareness month. Nearly 100 million Americans experience chronic pain. Most of those painful effects come from diabetes, heart disease and cancer. Chronic pain can be a warning sign for something much more problematic. Alerting your doctor of this pain should be a necessary precaution.

Dealing with chronic pain on a daily basis can be intolerable at times.

Determination Perseveres

This amazing story is a testament to the fact that much can be accomplished with a little determination. Constance, a 77 year-old woman with 2 hip, 2 knee, and 2 rotator cuff replacements, persevered the odds.  Not only was she able to improve her physical health but she was also able to improve her mental health.
